Effect on metabolism is minimal, but they're still delicious.
Two cups spinach
One cup portobello mushrooms
One cup red hot chili peppers (or half a cup if you don't like it fiery)
Optional: Habanero or jalapeno peppers or any other kind of pepper
Any seeds and nuts in any amount but weigh or at least measure carefully, they're high calorie little suckers! I like cashews, peanuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, and sesame seeds, flax seeds for omega threes, and maybe pumpkin seeds, about a tablespoon each.
Garlic and/or onions if you don't mind stink-breath that day.
Blend in blender to desired consistency (anywhere from chopped to a dip consistency) Enjoy!0 -
Chili, or salsa!
I make a yummy three bean chili (kidney, black and white) with meat (what ever kind I happen to have in my freezer; gr turkey, ground beef or sausage) a big can of petit diced tomatoes, and a big can of crushed tomatoes, chilies and seasoning throw it all in a crock pot let simmer all day.
Salsa--diced tomatoes, corn, black beans.chopped onion, cilantro and chilies drain everything and mix in a big bowl.0
