Amazing compliment!! (Not for children under 17)

I will start out by trying to put this as PG as possible. Kind of personal but made me smile so I had to share...

So, last night was "bumping uglies" night. Now mind you, this hasn't happened in a few weeks. (No, there's nothing wrong with my marriage, just been in a bit of a drought.) I am not a person that is naturally comfortable in my skin. My guys looks at me and says, "Wow, it's like being with a new woman." Confused, I ask what is that supposed to mean? He says, "You have been doing really well and it shows." Well, if that doesn't motivate you to stay the course!!

Sometimes it only takes a wow moment to really confirm that you are on the right track. This was after a 40 lbs loss...what will he say after the next 40?!?!

    I think that is fabulous! How awesome to say something. So many times we keep comments like those to ourselves when really if we are thinking it, it should be said because GREAT things can come from comments like that for both of you. :)

    Thanks! It is amazing how a compliment from someone so close is a million times better than one from family, friends or co-workers!

    Congratulations on the loss! And yes compliments like those are the best one. Because in moments like those your body is completely exposed, so I'm sure that makes you feel great!
