Reading about others achievements in MFP, I feel really motivated and am really glad that I have found this wonderful website.
I believed with self discipline,perseverance and dedication, I can also lose weight.

Oh I have a tip for you and for anyone else who is just starting out.
Weigh your portions! I remember when I was starting out I would log a bowl of say bran flakes as 1 portion of bran flakes. It was only a while later when I weighed my portion which was 88g did I realise that that was nearly 3 times the 30g that the box calls a portion!0 -

I totally agree with the weighing. I would have been lost in the beginning if I hadn't weighed/measured. I still do a lot although as you go you kind of learn what portions of regular things you eat look like.
And you CAN do it...one lb (kg) at a time...one day at a time...one meal at a time.0
