50 pounds!

I can't believe it. I stepped on the scale today and I am down 50.6 pounds since 8/17/2010. I am so happy I can barely sit here and write this. I have finally stepped up my exercise and really seeing great results! I find it so hard to keep up exercising. I have a highly stressful job, and am usually so mentally beat up at the end of the day I lack the motivation to go to the gym. I have been lucky enough to have a few days off this week and have made it my priority to get to the gym and can't believe how much I have lost in the last few days. Just hope I can keep it up I just want to thank everyone on here for being so inspirational. I can't believe people I don't even know can push me to keep going. It's not easy to celebrate my successes with my friends, since I don't even like to admit to them how much I have gained in the last few years. Thank you everyone, you are all fantastic!!!!! Can't wait to lose the next 50 and be at my goal!

I just got goosebumps reading your post! That is AMAZING that you've lost 50lbs since August!! It's funny how we don't really know anybody "personally" on MFP, but they all push us to keep going anyway! I've never met a person from here, except for both of my sisters who've joined, yet you all keep me coming back!! Keep up that motivation to go to the gym, and you will lose that second 50lbs JUST as fast!! Congrats!! :flowerforyou:0

Awesome!! So happy for you!!! I would totally suggest purchasing an elliptical for at home. I have a stressful life and it is sooooo a stree reliever. I just get on that thing, play my favorite tunes, and forget about my worries for now 30 minutes a day. I do it at night, too. I started out at 15 minutes a day and then worked my way up. I don't even have the most expensive model....think it was 300 new, but it still works and I have lost 29 lbs so far this year. Blessing0
