Lord of the rings hallowern costume input

Hi there MFP world, I have been given the task of choosing a creating costumes for me and the boyfriend for Halloween this year - the request being couple costumes from the hobbit or the lord of the rings trilogy. I was leaning toward Legolas and Gimli, because I think I'd make one excellent dwarf, but my SO wasn't feeling it. So let me have it, what do ya'll think the best LOTR couple costume would be?

(sewing them btw so availability to purchase is a nonissue)

Although... one of you could go as the ring and you can have your choice of who the partner is.

That person would most likely have a blast at the party too - everyone would want to hang out with the ring that rules them all!

Thanks for the thoughts guys, keep 'em coming, but, just to be clear, doesn't necessarily have to be a "romantic" couple, hense legolas and gimli, or like Frodo and Sam, or whomever else. Thanks!
