I started with the FT4 which was inexpensive and reliable during my workouts. I now have the Polar FT60 that I got for $108.

Polar F7? Okay. Does it track every activity?

My activities range for HIIT workouts, to Yoga, to just plain walking. I plan on using it for to track how much calories I lose.. I just wanted to get a more accurate reading.

save your money waste of time, buy some gym equipment that has a purpose instead

Using a HRM for those activities is only good if you want to track just heart rate, not calculate calories. The formulas used by any HRM for caloric estimation is not accurate for HIIT or yoga ... and only really good for walking if you speed walk at a near constant effort.

Sorry, I don't believe it does. I always manually input the amount of calories burned into MFP.
