Taking a water pill with sore muscles?

My doctor prescribed me a water pill. My prescribed dosage is 1/2 a pill once a week(weight loss physician).

I was curious, my muscles are extremely sore from exercise the past two days and if I take my dose of my water pill now will it affect my recovery time.

Thanks in advance and feel free to add me.

Serious question...what is a water pill?
Why not a glass of water?
    I am confused.
  • A water pill is a diuretic. It helps your body remove excess water and sodium. It is also used to treat hypertension by removing excess water from the surrounding tissue of the blood vessels so your blood flows easier.

I'm taking the water pill in combination with two diet medications that my doctor prescribed and I didn't want to take the water pill to remove the excess water from my body if my muscles need it to heal.

Ahhh. Well, I'd probably ask your doctor about using it in conjunction with exercise.
Something tells me it won't be a big issue, though.
