Am I not eating enough?

I just started my diet 3 days ago and I want to lose 1.5 pounds a week. I weigh a lot and My Fitness Pal says I can eat 2270 calories a day to lose weight with no exercise. Well today I ate 1913 calories and worked out and lost 431 calorie, so my net for today is 1484.

Am I not eating enough? I'm desperate to lose weight.

    On MFP you are supposed to eat your exercise calories. That being said, I eat only half my exercise calories back as they are usually over estimated. Make sure you weigh and measure all that you eat. Good Luck.

    Check your goals and make sure you selected lose 1.5 and not gain 1.5.
