Going from 135 to 115-110

Hello!

I am not new here, exactly, but it has been a long time and I consider myself a newbie since I never used the full range of the site.

I am 5'4" and about 135 lbs (I'm guessing). I have had problems in the past with disordered eating habits which eventually just resulted in me having a really poor diet for the past couple of years after several years of eating almost too healthy. It's been a stressful experience and I would like to lose weight while focusing on eating a balanced, nutritious diet and exercising more often.

I don't have much to lose, so it will probably be a very slow process. But I am ready to get started and I think making friends here will help!

I would especially love to talk to anyone in a similar weight range or with similar experiences. Any new friends are welcome of course!

    I have almost exactly the same story as you! I'm 5'5 and currently 135. In the past I was VERY strict about what I ate and was down to 120 lbs but eating no grains or sugar aka very unrealistic. Once I "broke" my eating habits I went crazy since I had been depriving myself and developed a binge eating disorder and this spring and summer I have been battling as I try restricting to lose weight and then end up bingeing. So now I am determined to eat in moderation and actually eat my daily calories because when I used to use this app I would eat around 800 calories a day which of course would lead to binge eating the next day. So anyways I am restarting my weight loss journey with a healthier mindset and I wanted to make friends with people who have similar goals and you seem perfect! I only need to lose around 15/20 lbs, just like you! feel free to message me with anything you are having trouble with or if you are finding something to be helpful! :)

    Hello I have about the same goal too! I am hoping to get to 115-120, I think that is more healthy for my build (5'1"). I am hoping to get better at running. I try to each organic, fresh, and local. I wouldn't say I'm a veggie, but I don't eat a lot of red meat. Anyone can add me.
