Wow, 2 weekends of college graduations = 3lbs more of me! How to party without gaining weight, if anyone has the answer I'd love to know it. But in the big scheme of things, if you never celebrate the good times what's the point in having them. My friend and I watched our youngest daughters graduate from college the last two weekends, we are so proud of them. I feel like we've reached a final goal with our kids. But now it's back to the daily routine and you know it's not as hard as I thought it would be. Yeah I was a little sad to see the numbers go up but I didn't go into panic mode. So change is good, now I don't get down on myself when things like this come up and that is great. I also realized that you need a good game plan when presented with a buffet.   Have a nice week all you fellow mfp'ers.

First congrats for your daughter. How wonderfully proud you must be.
Boy can I relate, we had out of town guest last week. They slept in our exercise room sooo for the five days they were here I didn't work out and we went out to dinner. I was careful at what I ordered so that was good. To make a long story short, without whinning to much. It took me 6 weeks to lose 4 lbs & one week to gain it all back. SIGH I've started from square one.0 -
Congratulations to your daughters on their graduations!
I've been going through the same thing myself...finals, graduating, b-days. Last 3 weeks I haven't exercised as much and have been over calories every day. Luckily when I weighed in today I'd only gained 2.2 lbs.
I'm getting ready to go to the gym right now! See you later!0 -
Congrats on your daughters graduation Karen!!!
Now, you can kick some weight *kitten*!!
