Hi all,

I am going on holiday on Sat for two weeks and I am worried about keeping records as I will not have much access to the internet. Shall I just write it all down and record it when I can?
Also I will be with my grandmother who loooooves to cook and pretty much insists we eat all things Xmassy.

I looooove Xmas and it is the only day I do not wish to diet on but has anyone got any tips at all to help me control myself LOL?

Thanks in advance!!

I would keep a journal, then if you want when you get back you can input into MFP or not! your choice ofcourse!

Also if you have a cell phone you could login to MFP through your cell and load everything in (might be a long task).

If you have a smart phone, there is an application. I have it on my HTC Droid and love it. I can log my food and exercise from just about anywhere. I'm not sure if all smart phones will have it, but droid market does and it is free!!

Keep a written journal and smaller portions that you think you should/normally would-that should keep your calories in check! (I'm assuming she likes to cook with all the bells & whistles and the food is very high in calories and fat?)

I would keep a journal if you can. Eat smaller portions then normal. Maybe focus on just maintaining while your gone instead of losing. Drink lots of water. If you can go on walks at night or something. Encourage your Grandma to go with you if she is able to. Good luck!

I also say to relax a bit and enjoy the company & good food.... within reason!

Keep a paper journal if writing it down helps keep you focused.
Enjoy small portions of the things you love and don't feel pressured to eat more!
Drink lots of water, get out for walks, play games, stay active as much as possible.

I was with my sister's family for Thanksgiving and it was hard to get much exercise.
But we played lots of board games.... and Wii.... WOW!
I'd never played before and we busted our guts laughing so hard!
