Calories From Walking

Should I count all the time I spend walking to class as cardio? I'm a college student and I live 20-25 minutes from campus, so I walk about an hour and a half to two hours every day (sometimes more). I also use the elliptical, so MFP calculates that I'm burning like 1,000 calories a day through exercise. I usually don't record more than an hour for walking because I think eating more than 2,000 calories a day seems excessive.
If those calories from walking do 'count', I feel much better about all those shots I took last night.

If you're going to include your calories burned walking be conservative and use

.30 x weight in lbs x distance in miles (Source : Runners World)

to give you a reasonable estimate of the additional calories expended.

^^ This. The alternative is to adjust your activity level in MFP (from sedentary to lightly active to active, etc.) I personally think you're generally better off keeping activity level low and tracking movement, but YMMV.
