Excercising during the Aunt Flow Visit

AKA your period. I get horrid debilitating cramps and horrible bloating and when trying to work out its like Niagara Falls man! It ruins my workout plan all the time. Does anyone else have this problem and how to you deal with it?

    Me!! I change two things in my routine. First, I make my worst cramping day my rest day. Second, on other days I'll do a longer, less vigorous workout if I'm not feeling up to going all-out.

    Also, if you can take NSAIDs like Aleve or Motrin- so no allergies, ulcers, etc., using them relieves pain and reduces flow.
