Too much left over cals

How, on days when you feel tired/weak or just sick, do you manage to hit you calorie goal? There have been a few days recently where I cannot hit it-I am really tired/sick. Any advice to get the cals in without feeling horrid?

This does not apply for stomach flu or other sicknesses, but stuff like fatigue, lack of sleep, or just bad rushed days

Have a Just-in-case stash of foods you like that are balanced that are quick and easy to eat. Depends on your taste. My go-to snacks are wholewheat bread with Almond butter or peanut butter in a pinch, cottage cheese, wholegrain cereals with Almond milk, nuts and raisins or nutrition bars of varying kinds. Lately i have had a craving for warm fruit with Cool Whip and some seeds or nuts, or Chobani Greek yoghurt with Granola or rolled oats added. Weight watchers and Skinny Cow also do some very good ice creams (bars, sandwiches and tub).

Munch on some healthy, high calorie snacks. They'll be yummy and help you increase your calorie intake without feeling stuffed.

Fruit is always a great option and dates (like medjool dates) are especially high in calories. And super sweet too!
If you're more of a savory person, trail mixes, nuts, and nut butters are popular too.

Oh, and juice/smoothies! Not that sugary #$%^, but real juiced juice!

ty all. yeah on these days I am more of a fruit person. Anything with water to help me feel better. Sadly it doesn't work with veggies, not even in my smoothies on these days

This is going to sound pretty lame, but sometimes I wrap bananas in romaine lettuce leaves lol.
