No initial weight loss?

Hey guys! I just started fully committing to losing weight about 10 days ago by starting the 30 day shred, eating around 1200 calories with 60 grams of protein since I'm a vegetarian, and being generally active as I started a new year of college and there are hills everywhere. This all sounds fair and well other than the fact that I have lost just under 2 pounds in this time and my measurements are the same. Is there something I'm doing wrong or do I need to just shut up and be more patient? I'm just getting really discouraged and would love some advice as I am used to losing weight at a much quicker pace than what I am right now. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Two pounds in 10 days is a nice loss. Losing fast means just that...losing fast. There isn't anything fascinating or special about fast weight loss. Be patience and take this as a learning experience as you slowly lose weight so you won't gain it back.

yes, 2 lbs is awesome! i know its hard to be patient but its the only way to change and make sure it sticks! lose it too fast and itll come right back (most of us have had that experience at least once or twice!)... also, im vegetarian, too! let me know if you ever need protein ideas/have ideas to share! always looking for ways to mix it up :)
    stay focused this week!

2 lbs in 10 days is significant. And unless you are measuring every inch of your body, relax. Be patient. Keep doing what works.
