For reference, I go to the gym on a college campus that's connected to an Air Force Base. I'm very aware that I'm the fattest one there 99% of the time and it doesn't bother me at all. What does bother me is the implication that this girl doesn't want to go with me because I'm a fantastic lifting buddy (I am) or because I'm a good friend, but just so she could feel better about herself.

I quit my new job recently... I had severe social anxiety and I just couldn't take it anymore. I'm not on any medications right now, no insurance, recently moved in with my family, etc. That whole situation. Anyway I ended up almost puking on my desk just from the anxiety. Ended up leaving the job. My dad was pretty furious about it. If I'm gonna be living with them I need to help out financially. I know he just wants me to get better... but that doesn't just happen overnight. Anyway the insult was, when I was arguing with him about the job I said something like "I was so scared I puked" and he stops, looks at me, LAUGHS and goes

"NO OFFENSE........... but you always puke" And said this in front of my mom, my sister (who has been doing her fair share of bashing me lately), and a room mate/friend.

All I really could say because I was so shocked was "Really?...REALLY?"

Eh the jist of it is after almost 30 years of knowing me, knowing my depression, anxiety, history etc.... they assumed I was occasionally puking because of an eating disorder, not because of the anxiety/stress.... -_-
