I borrowed a few DVD's and thought I'd give it a try. Any advice?

Just listen to the instructor carefully and concentrate on your form. It won't be a big calorie burn, but, like yoga, it will do other great things for your body. :flowerforyou:
  • Hi,

Best advice I can give is be patient with it. Its a really lovely form of exercise but, if you're as uncocordinated as I am, it can take a little while to get the hand of. I had a go at a DVD before I went along to a class. As I said I'm not very coordinated, So when they said do this with your stomach, this with your breathing now move you legs like that, while your arms the other way I really struggled. I later went to a couple of classes and it wasn't a problem. It does give you a wonderful figure and is great for your back. I now go to a class that combines pilates, tai chi and yoga.
