Any mid-twenties losing weight to join the military?

I'm 25 and still have between 4-7 pounds to lose to join (it depends on the day, ya know?). My husband joined the Army late 2012 and I've been trying to lose weight to join for almost exactly a year. I suppose I'm looking for friends who are in the same boat as me since we'll understand each others struggles. Feel free to ask me any questions or send friend requests! I log nearly everyday, unless I'm out of town or super busy, and would love more friends for support/to support!

I just got out of the Army after serving my four years to get college benefits. My advice would be make sure you can easily pass the PT test and keep the weight off. The services are downsizing and PT failures and those who don't pass height/weight at lower ranks were getting forced out rapidly.
Good luck, just stay healthy and dedicated. Don't be satified just when you make your weight get to a comfortable zone, and allow yourself some wiggle room.0
