Overdosed on Prednisone...

Hey guys.

Last week I ran into poison ivy, which I'm allergic to.

Had a terrible outbreak ALL OVER my body and had to be put on Prednisone, along with a Prednisone shot in the butt.

The idiot practitioner who gave me the shot told me to start taking the pills as soon as I got home. Well, come to find out after talking to a real doctor, that overdosed me.

anyhow.... the Prednisone didn't touch the ivy. I had to go to a skin specialist and be put on a special cream to get rid of it.

I know Prednisone makes you hold water weight, but I'm up like 16lbs. because of the crap. I know the basics of drinking water, low carb / sodium to flush excess water weight, but, is there anything else? This is my 2nd day off of it and I can still feel the extra bloat which is extremely uncomfortable.

I would gladly die a slow death, than to ever take Prednisone, or another steroid ever again.

I normally drink 2 ounces of 100% cranberry juice with 7 ounces of water, stick close to the bathroom.
