Getting rid of love handles and flabby arms=lift, eat?

As I absorbed many advices from wonderful peeps in MFP, everyone agrees that heavy lifting and a little of TABATA and HIIT will solve my problem of losing "love handles" and flabby arms. I"m underweight, and yes, it means I have to eat in calories surplus, slightly or so to gain muscles (I don't need anymore explanation about this). But I am aware and understand too that I will gain some fat too.

But what I really find it hard to absorb is that once I gain the muscles and all, HOW CAN I BE SURE THAT my love handles and flabby parts on my arms WILL GO AWAY? I know more muscles mean higher metabolism, but how does that work better than just calories deficit and cardio?

Because 16% body fat on a person with little muscle looks dramatically different than a person with 16% BF and a good amount of muscle. It will make your skin and body look "tighter" and (forgive me) "toned".

You wont "lose" the skin on your love handles or arms, it will tighten and look like rock hard muscle.

more muscles = dense material filling up the space under your skin.

filled out skin with muscles = no more flabby arms.

But let's be realistic- people have skin- skin's an organ- it gets old. I think I have bingo wings that are really part of my arm muscles.

Just lift- get better- be awesome- and revel in how fabulous you feel- if you wind up with less bingo wing- win- if you still have bingo wings- who cares- you can DL 350.

I won't ever trade my pull ups and DL for no bingo wings- if 'thats the price I pay- I'll take it.
