Soooo....I've apparently acquired a (get ready for this crap).... "stress fracture of the postermedial tibial condyle along the physeal scar with prominent surrounding bone marrow edema", along with "small intraligamentous ganglion cysts along the mid to distal ACL, with very small joint effusion." Bottom line is, I don't really understand all of that s***, but I can't do anything with my left leg from the knee down and I'm stuck on crutches for the next 6-8 weeks at LEAST ?! I REALLY need help with some ideas to continue my cardio. I was walking/running and was doing really great until THIS happened. I don't want to lose my "vibe" I had going and I actually miss my daily workouts. I'm not really in a position for a gym membership now, so if anyone can give advice on home workouts that will burn calories (without lower body involved), that would be GREAT! Thanks !!!

seated boxing workouts
but really you should focus on healing and just pay more attention to your calories now. i'd even suggest eating closer to maintenance while you heal as well0 -

Thanks for the ideas and I'll definitely check out the seated boxing. I just had such a good start on toning up/slimming down my butt and thighs and hate to lose that by sitting on it ?! LOL! Any ideas on how I can keep going there???0

You could also do not-cardio. Lift some weights.0

they have an upper body bike.
a reclining bike might be do-able at slower speeds.
get yourself one of those knee scooters- and wheel yourself around on it.
Get a wheel chair- and do laps- I do shove around a grocery cart (like a kid- one foot on it and the other one pushing like a skate board) I get winded as hell sprinting the cart to my car!0 -

Donkey kicks might work. Or butt clenches.0
