Keep trying! I have in the past often given up after not losing after a week or two. This time I've stayed with it for months and am slowly getting results. You an do it!

We really live in a society of immediate gratification. It's hard to stick with anything that requires actual time, dedication, and determination for such an extended period of time - ESPECIALLY if it's losing weight because it's SOOO easy to put it on in a blink, but OMG SO HARD to take off (it seems to take an eternity x infinity).

I started on my path in April 2011. From March 2013 until just recently, I fell off the wagon hard, and getting back on it was a B&TCH and a half. Getting back on it was harder than starting 3 years ago!! I weighed in today, and in the last month, I've lost 7.2 pounds.

Two things: First: LOG EVERYTHING. I do mean EVERYTHING. Bad, good or otherwise, it is what it is. You have to know where you are before you can figure out how to get where you're going.

Second: Get a Fitbit One. It syncs with MFP, and it'll sync with your phone too. There's a chart (if you have an iphone- I don't know about other types of smart phones....) that will show you calories in vs. calories out. It really is a case of calories in vs. calories out.

The two are very much related and work hand in hand. If you're logging EVERYTHING and making sure you're taking in fewer than you burn, you will lose weight, and it will be consistent. I've got the data to prove it....well I guess that just proves it works with me....LOL

You can do it. Just stick with it. Know it's isn't an immediate gratification thing....this one's going to take a while. It is what it is.

Greatness is in you. It really is. The fact that your path is bugging you right now proves it to me. If you didn't care about it, it wouldn't bug you. Stick with it - the results will come.

If you are gaining weight, it means you are eating too much. Simple. Find your TDEE and eat 20% below that. Start weighing and logging your food accurately and consistently, and you'll lose weight. Scientifically, you HAVE to.
