3 weeks to a month?

I've been swimming and lifting weights the past week and a half almost 2 weeks and have lost 11 lbs so far! I swim Monday through Friday and lift every other day. The reason I've lost weight so fast I think is because I'm heavily overweight (291 - 11 = 280 lol) anyways I was wondering if anyone has been around my weight size and loss weight drastically in like a month to 3 week period? Like if I keep up with what I'm doing within the next 3 weeks can I be down 20 to 30 lbs possibly?

Maybe, but probably not. The rapid, initial weight loss is mostly water weight, and it tapers off soon. 10 lbs in 3 weeks is more realistic, and then 5 pounds for the next 3 weeks.

First 5-7 pounds were probably glycogen, not fat.

Yeah, I lost weight pretty quickly for the first 6 weeks. It didn't put me 30 pounds down, though :)

You'll do it the hard way - through diet and exercise - and feel better for it. Next year, you'll wonder what the rush was about.

it comes off faster at first,of course, then tapers off.
started at 235. lost 14 v quickly. next 14 a tad slower and last 7 slower again as i have shed 13% of my bodyweight in 9 weeks.
lesser weight = more energy expended.
    g luck.

The weight comes off quickly at first, but it doesn't keep up that pace forever. Enjoy it while it lasts!!!!

The more you lose, the harder it gets.

Swimming is the best for weight loss. Burning calories, giving you cardio and resistance. It's the BEST exercise! If you want to keep losing, keep swimming.
