How to reach my TDEE-20%

My BMR is around 1500. TDEE is 1800-1900. Stats: 5'5, 150, 24yrs. Goal weight is around 125 by the end of the year.

1) Is it possible to lose that amt in 4 months? About 25, maybe 30lbs?

2) I would need to eat around 1450 to lose 1lb/wk?

BMR and TDEE confuse me so much. Am I correct with my stats?

*I havent been logging but will start once I figure out my numbers*

How did you calculate your BMR and TDEE? It's perfectly possible to lose 25 pounds by the end of the year.
According to this calculator (which is what I use) http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ your BMR is 1433. Without knowing what your activity levels are I would say that you should eat at least 1500 calories a day.
You should never eat below your BMR.

You should not eat at a level below your BMR. How did you calculate the TDEE? Are you exercising at all?

I'm much older than you and don't weight too differently (and not too dissimilar height) and my TDEE is more than yours. Is you are exercising at all, then I would think you'd have a higher TDEE. At only 150 lb at 5'4", you may find it hard to lose 25 lb in 4 months w/o starving yourself. As you get w/in 15 lb of your goal, you want to switch to 1/2 lb a week, so that extends it. While it may take longer, just think about how much more you can eat, plus you are learning the habits of a lifetime.

Never eat below your BMR? I've been eating 1300 and my BMR is 1500... is this wrong? My TDEE is 2100. (5'3", 181 lb, Female, 23, 3x week working out)

I should note I am never hungry and I eat a well balanced diet (see diary, should be open)

Yeah, it's wrong. Your BMR is the calorie requirement your body needs for natural processes like digestion and breathing and heart beat. It's what you would burn if you were in a coma laying in bed not doing any additional physical activity. You should take a cut of your TDEE (depending on how much weight you have to lose, it should be 10-20%) and eat at that level accurately. If your TDEE is 2100, you should eat between 1680 and 1890 to lose weight.

I am 5'5 currently 150 lbs (SW 183) and I eat ~1800 a day (my TDEE is around 2150 too)

After checking your diary, it does look like you try to eat healthy but you need WAY more protein unless you want to lose lean muscle. More protein will also help you feel full and help your body retain lean muscle mass while burning fat.

Another consideration is how much energy burning fat can provide in a day. I don't have the source handy (will find it if someone wants), but there's a metabolic limit around 30kcal/lb fat. Someone carrying 100 lb of fat on their skeleton could theoretically get up to 3000cal/day before eating a bite. Someone with 20 lb fat can only get 600. I'm pretty lean, and I go below my BMR from time to time, but I'm careful to keep my deficit smaller than the max I can get from fat. I feel no ill effects (but I also have a high fiber diet so I'm literally still digesting yesterday's food).

I think the BMR generalization is a reasonable one, but really, a lot depends on a person's specific body composition. For some people it is not at all dangerous. You still need to get essential nutrients, though.

Oh my goodness, I've been looking for this thread everywhere.

Okay, so I calculated my TDEE and BMR in a couple of places and it says my BMR is around 2200 and my TDEE is close to 3000 and for me to eat around 2300 to lose weight safely - is this correct? MFP has me eating at 1750 and I've felt sick most of the time and am not really losing much if any (I usually eat some but not all my exercise calories back).
