Calories Burned

Does anyone have a specific target for calories burned each day?
I aim for 600 minimum (as per the MFP counter) and usually manage to hit it. Sometimes I reach 800 or so.
Does anyone else have targets for such?

    Target calories is a great idea.

    My target is more modest - just time. My time is limited, the target is 30 minutes each day. Going to the gym adds more than 30 minutes, which includes prep, travel, and cleanup. The 20-30 minutes of HIIT on the stationary bike uses 250-300 calories.

    I work out 5 days a week. I try to make at least 4 of those workouts get me to between 300-400 calories burned. That allows me to eat as I normally would without thinking too much about it.
