So MFP is telling me that I have goal of 40 total grams of fat a day. I usually only eat 15grams or less but still hit my goal for protein. Is this a good thing or bad thing? Should I increase my fat intake? Also, I see that carbs usually take up 60-65% of my calories breakdown when it should be around 50% according to MFP. Will this negatively impact my weight loss?

Sorry I have no idea on the carbs. I wonder myself. Mostly I intake the complex and I am always over, so I am curious myself.

If you're going to eat carbs make most of them the complex carbs that comes from fruit and vegi's. Myself I normally go over on protein, and even though I don't eat sugar, it seems to be in everything. I don't eat a lot of bread or potatoes, so my carbs are usually under.

No it won't impact your weight loss. Remember a calorie is a calorie, regardless if it comes from protein, fat or carbs. As long as it fits in your daily calorie goal you won't have any problems.
