so on sunday night my friend talked me in to joining the gym with her.
we did it online and booked our inductions for monday evening. After the induction we did 45 mins cardio.
then on tuesday we went again and did about an hour and half of cardio.
and will be going tomorrow morning too.
now to my question......
i just weighed my self (actual weigh in is tomorrow morning) and im uo by 0.4kg. i know that dont seem alot but its up.
iv been loosing nicely since counting my cals (before adding in any extra exercise) so i guess i thought adding in going to the gym would mean id be loosing nicely still.
Im hoping by friday morning it will have evened back out and gone down.
so why the gain?
ETA: i get weight fluctuates etc but i weigh my self most days have not yet (until now) had it go up, it usually stays the same or is down by a tiny bit, so i guess this slight gain has thrown me a bit as its never happen yet

When you start an exercise program, your muscles will retain water in order to repair themselves. This usually results in a temporary slight gain. Stick with it and the scale should quickly start going the other way.0
