Uplift in energy prior to monthly?

Hi I just had to ask if anyone else finds the same or knows of why this seems to happen...

literally 1 - 3 days before I start my monthly period I have the best workouts EVER! I seem to have so much more strength and determination and endurance that as I work out I feel like superwoman it is amazing.

I then find that the moment I start my period my energy and endurance dips really low for a couple of days and then back to normal.

Does anyone else have this happen?

I don't know why, sorry, but I have the same thing. I have one day where I'm Superwoman and will hit the gym for hours and feel amazing after, then literally the next day I wake up and I can't wait to do it all over again and it's not that I have DOMS or anything, but I cannot physically pick up ANY weights, let alone the same as the day before.

    It's so odd.

    one word answer, Hormones.
the body has a surge of hormones right before you start your monthly, then after it has started the same hormone plummets.

Yes, Remember just before your period your body reacts the same way as the very early stages of pregnancy.
Basically it's getting super pumped to grow a baby.
