Is it horrible.....?

To miss a week of exercise? I'm not sure if I'm trying to get sick or if my allergies are just really getting to me, but I feel awful this week! I normally try to get in at least 30 minutes of cardio 3 days a week, but I barely have the energy to move this week. I just don't want one week to completely throw me off balance.

if you are sick, tired, lacking energy...rest up for a few days or a week. Schedule your exercise for the after the rest and get back into it straight away.

No it is not "horrible" as you put it to lose a week of exercise, let whatever ails you pass then get back to it refreshed and well. Your diary is closed so I will a post a couple of links here for you just in case you have set too high of a deficit which can cause feelings of lethargy etc

You've lost 146 lbs and still wondering this question?

But no if you aren't feeling well let your body heal and read the links given above

My OCD tends to outthink my common sense sometimes. Everyone needs a little reassurance now and again. I had gastric bypass a year ago and have managed to lose 146 lbs so I have a little fear that it'll come right back. I'm actually in maintenance now. I know the answer to this question....sometimes I just need someone to tell me anyway. Thanks!

I'm asking myself this question too OP!
I'm beating myself up for not working out for a week as well, it does make me feel guilty. But, I figure I have stayed within my calories so it shouldn't cause me to go backwards (or upwards!)
There are just times when my motivation to work out vanishes, my energy goes and all I want to do is sit around. Hopefully it will pass and I'll be energenticaly bouncing to the gym again!
Also, well done on your weight loss!

I have horrible work out guilt! I pushed myself so hard for so long that even thinking about back pedaling makes me anxious! I always stay within my calorie goals. I'm quite picky about that. I can also see my motivation starting to sway some. I work night shift, and I don't sleep very well during the day so that tends to wear me down pretty quick. Most weeks I push through it, but this week is definitely harder than usual which makes me think its that time of year for me to get sick.

Also, thank you so much! It means a lot when people say that!
