Hi! First day on MFP, and I like what I'm learning about it so far! Over the last 4 years, I've gained aboug 40 pounds even though I've always been an active person and healthy-minded when it came to eating. They mystery of my weight gain was solved when I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. It's been a struggle, but I've finally started losing the weight-- 8 pounds down in one month! The medication is finally at the right level! I'm about 40 pounds from my ultimate goal and hope to get there within the year. Hopefully, 2011 is going to be a year to get back to fit and healthy. So, I'm hoping to use MFP to log my workouts and food and help keep me positive and focused. :smile: Best of luck to everyone on your fitness journey. :bigsmile:
