Could I have hit a plateau just 10 lbs in to my weight loss?

I am 10 weeks in to my weight loss. 2 months in I had lost 10 lbs. I was so excited! 2 weeks has passed since then and I haven't dropped a pound! I'm doing everything the same. I just don't understand why I'm at a stand still only 10 weeks and 10 lbs in to weight loss. I understand I don't have much more to lose or that much to lose to begin with, but it still frustrates me that I haven't lost any. My mom said that one day I'll weigh myself and I will have dropped 3 pounds or so. This may be true since weight loss isn't linear, but it still frustrates me. Does this sound like I've plateaued or has it not been long enough to do that?
Any advice?
Should I just keep doing what I'm doing?

A plateau is usually considered 5-6 weeks, you are at a stall, could be retaining water. Keep doing what you have been and be patient, it will come.0

A plateau is 4-6+ weeks without a loss and with no changes to your routine. You've hit a stall and they're very common. You could be retaining water (sodium, stress, increases in exercise, hormones, TOM, etc. can all cause you to retain water) or you could be eating more than you think and burning less. Double check the accuracy of your logging, make sure you're getting an accurate estimate of your exercise calories, and drink plenty of fluids to help flush out any excess. The scale should start to move in the right direction soon.0
