Help! How do I measure an avocado?

I ate an avocado for breakfast today, but I'm having a hard time picking out the right entry from the database. A search for avocado ( http://imgur.com/kr7TVsf.png ) as you can see, raises lots of questions. These are my two main questions:
1. How do I know which one of the various entries from the database to choose?
2. How do I measure the quantity? In the link you can see the nutrition values for 100 grams. The avocado I ate today weighed 140g. Do I need to subtract the weight of the seed and the skin?
Thanks very much in advance to anybody who can help me out. Cheers!

1) Use the third one, the one without the asterisk. That is an official MFP entry and you know it will be accurate.
2) Weigh only the portion you eat. So yes, remove the weigh of the skin and seed.0 -
Whenever I have avocado, I peel it, take out the pit, then weigh it. There are entries there for peeled, pitted avocado in grams. I know this doesn't help you today, but in the future. It's a lot easier.0

Thanks a lot! From now on I will always choose the entry without an asterisk --- that makes this a whole lot easier!0 -

It also helps to search raw. So search for avocados raw, carrots raw, broccoli raw, etc. That helps you to find the standard entry with no asterisk and should be the most reliable for things like produce.0 -

Ah, is that the magic to get rid of the user added bunk? Excellent.0
