Water Retention and WEight gain

Hey Everyone!
So a few weeks ago, I started to adapt a restricted diet in order to lose a few kilos and prepare for a function on the 1st of September. By eating 1200 calories a day i lost about 1.5kg during that week. I had a few drinks at the party and then sort of relaxed on the rigid eating plan in the days after (my eating ranges from 1200-1700ish cal). I noticed that i've rapidly gained around 1kg back in around 4 days and I think its attributed to the fact that despite drinking upward of 2L of water a day, I have a very very low urine output. I have little urge to pee and when i do go, It's probably less than a cup full. Has anyone else experienced this? It's really disheartening and uncomfortable, all my clothes fit super tight/don't fit at all despite how much I've been exercising! Anyone have any tips on how to stop the water retention?
