    I lived in Japan for over three years. It is an amazing place... Never made it to Okinawa though. Good luck on your journey!

    No, I don't live on Okinawa, but my daughter does. She is married to a Marine and they live off-base. Her husband works at Camp Courtney. Better yet, I'll be visiting her in January 2011 (16-29 I believe).

    I was there in 1974 and 1975. Stationed at Camp Foster. Right out of Kitamae. Great memories.
