Getting back to it

Hey Everyone,

My name is Beth.

I once joined My fitness pal years ago, and recently have been trying to find a community where I could get the support I needed in hopes of achieving my goals. I have come back in the hopes that this is that community. I currently live in Memphis and would love to find a running/ work out buddy here to keep me motivated an acountable (if there is anyone from this area that is interested). My story goes something like this: I work nights so it has been getting harder and harder for me to work out in the mornings. I try right after I get off work at 7:30 but some times all it is hard for me to find the motivation to go work out instead of catching up on my sleep. I also live with my boyfriend who is into olympic weightlifting and so his goals are the complete opposite of mine. He wants to eat as many carbs and calories as he can in a day in order to gain weight, while I am trying to eat low carb, low calorie meals. This has been the biggest struggle for me, trying to balance his needs with mine. Anyway, I am on a mission to run a half marathon in May of next year, I figure that should give me plenty of time to properly prepare. Im just here to say Hi and to try and do my best
