Why I think weight isn't a proper goal

Nice post. I agee with the whole weight as a goal idea. The scale doesn't read fat versus body fat, so going by weight isn't always the ideal choice. MFP only allows weight as a goal, so I picked my idea weight, but if I toned down and felt pretty and confident in myself, I think I'd be happy at any number. Right now I've met one of my mini-goals... I fit in the wedding dress I bought (it was a size too small), now I'd like to lose enough weight and tone up enough to have it taken in at least once.:-) Of course, I also want to be healthy and live a long life with my fiance too. For me, the weight is just something measurable and one potential pathway to my goals.
