Do fast squatting! Then it's both.
Look for HIIT training for shorter, effective workouts. Google and YouTube them. Like T25 or some of Jillian Michaels DVDs (but you HAVE to work hard while you're doing it or you're just wasting time).
Edit: Because I typed the wrong word.0 -
Hi Jorge I posted on your other thread. If you are looking for HIIT then T25 may be for you. Insanity is another, but it depends on what you are looking for, but its hard on the joints (I find) T25 has modifiers and is not as pounding of a program. Let me know if you have any other questions. 25kg in 6 months is very doable with the right program and motivation0

The correct answer is neither. Neither one of them have a significant impact on weight loss in comparison to your diet.
For health, both are equally important.0 -

Agreed+++
Diet is #1
Squating, or starting a beginners heavy lifting program like strong lifts is a great way to mitigate muscle loss while losing weight. You will get a few extra calories from doing it but at the end of the day weight loss is only possible through your diet.0 -
What they said. You can't out-train a poor diet.
Depending on how much time you actually have in the gym, consider maybe some heavy lifting followed by a short, hard HIIT on the elliptical.0
