What are some toys from your childhood?

My mother gave me a spoon and said to go dig in the dirt outside. She also said I needed to bring it back if I wanted to eat dinner.

    Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots

    Lincoln Logs

Can't think of anything else. In the 50's and 60's there were no elctronic computer games. We played outside with our friends instead of texting them and sending them selfies.

I know it sounds barbaric, but that's just the way it was. We didn't come back inside until we were hungry or the streetlights came on.

Stompers!!! As a kid, we had a track we created in the back yard for these that probably covered an area of 15' x 30' and took the whole summer to design & build.

Oh yeah! I had all of these too! There was even an etch-a-sketch club that I joined and they sent me newsletters and stuff!

I also had a chemistry set. Do they sell those anymore?

Shogun Warriors were 2 feet tall, and blew my mind when I was say 5-6 years old. The coolest design, color, and toys I've ever owned. There was also a very nice line of diecat metal smaller robots and vehicles. I just love these and the original japanese counterparts.

not sex toys, although I am sure that is where this will ultimately end up lol.

A friend was talking about Stretch Armstrong yesterday. Do you remember that gel doll thing that you stretched his arms & legs out? My brother & I both had one & we tied them together lol.

What are some toys from your childhood?

UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM stretch Armstrong was not a doll, he was a "Action Figure!!!! And yes I had one, until the ooooooze and goooooooze came out all over my Moms living room floor.... lol..... MY very favorite though was my wind up "Evil Knievel" :)
