so im on yahoo and im reading this article and im pretty shocked at sum of the stuff its saying- its all about how to get rid of a cold and one of the way....exercise!!! its super interesting read on folks! (also talks about colds making you fat!- it wasnt all those cookies haha)

    Thanks! I like the thought about late nighs could be a cause also. I know I need to go to bed earlier because I get up so early. More zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's.
  • Nice! I always exercise even when I have a cold. Not as hard of course. But I hardly ever get sick - less than once a year. Another reason why orange juice is not going to cure it is because it has a lot of sugar. Sugar weakens the immune system!

    so weird, I was just wondering about this last night as I was leaving the gym. I usually get 6 or more colds a year - especially in the winter, it is just one long cold. I have not had a cold this year (knock on wood) yet and I was thinking how great I felt and I wondered if the exercise had something to do with it. Now I know, thanks!

    Also, I didn't know that sugar weakens the immunity system, that is REALLY good to know. One more reason not to eat those brownies!

    I have known this for ages, I always go to the gym just when a cold is about to develope however I seem to of developed a bad one really quick, stupid bugs are getting smart!
