Halfway - and Prediabetes Results

We'll see if I'm techy enough to post pix.
I'm also halfway to my goal and have lost right around 40 lbs by eating mostly veggies and lean proteins. My main motivation for losing weight was that I was prediabetic and was told in no uncertain terms what life would be like if I continued down my path.
My excuse for fatness was that I've had 7 full-term pregnancies, nursed 6 babies, and that I had 2 of my babies in my 40s. NOT valid!
My A1C, about 4 months later, has gone from 6.1 to 5.4 Now totally normal and no more risk of diabetes than anyone else. Unless I reverse my healthy lifestyle, of course.
I thought I would post some pix, and didn't expect to see the change in them that I do. In fact, I was mourning having lost so much weight but not looking any better! Because seriously... If I'm gonna work this hard I want it to be reflected on the outside and not just on the inside.
So anyway, there we are. Look a little better, feel a little better, and am a LOT more healthy. I'll be 45 next week, so I really needed this boost today.

I have had 11 babies- 10 pregnancies (one pregnancy was twins) and nursed/pumped for them all. And I let the 'I am always pregnant' excuse work for me - except it wasn't! I had 4 of those babies in my 40s and was done at 45. This year, just before I turned 47 I decided I was done with the excuses. I have dropped 30lbs so far, with another 15-20lbs. You CAN do it!!0
