You are an amazing writer. You certainly have a way with words... a way of touching people. Have you ever considered writing a book?

Wow great blog posts. Some of those are exactly what I needed to hear. I just talked to my husband last night about why he can't hold me accountable. I realize, now that it's MY journey. I can't depend or blame anyone but myself. I ate myself to 199 pounds and I will have to be intentional about losing them myself. You hit the nail on the head with doing things you love. The days I get to go to zumba I am SO EXCITED to exercise, but the days I have to go to the gym and do the arc trainer, I loathe them. I need to figure out what will make me excited to do this. Thanks again. Very insightful!

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I LOVE your blog posts and am really glad I read them! It really helped open my eyes to realize that my problem is more psychological than it is physical. I'm emotionally holding myself back from being healthy and in-shape. Thanks for sharing! I hope everyone gets a chance to read through your posts.

I felt the same way... but now I schedule my visits to the gym to watch certain tv shows as a treat (I don't own a tv in my house), so I'll watch my favorite renovation show, or even something cheesy like millionaire matchmaker, whatever will keep me entertained and my brain less aware of how long i've been there... after what feels like no time i burn off anywhere from 400-800 calories.

maybe it's not applicable to you, but it's my trick to keep me going :)
