Hit a plateau physically & mentally.

I have hit my plateau. :(
I really really don't know what to do.
I am eating between 1200- 1500 calories a day and I burn about 300 calories from walking in the morning. I will admit I have been a little bit sick for the last couple of weeks and have cut my exercise down to about 3 per week.
I know I need to get back up to 6 or 7 walks, but I just feel stuck and like I can't be bothered walking. I don't really like going to the gym or group work outs that's why I just put bubs in the pram and go first thing in the morning.
I also don't feel like cooking or coming up with meals.
I think because I have not been 100% that I'm just feeling sorry for myself lol! - just ignore my whinging hahaha!

How did everyone else get over there plateau?

I hit a plateau actually a few times but I've learned a lot I think if I could relate any of them to your experience it might actually be that your eating too little might sound a little cray but if your eating 1200cals and you burn 300 for the day your at 900 and I know I did this at one point and stopped losing weight all together and if you log under i think like 1000cals mfp tells you at the bottom that you should eat more. This could also count account for the lack of energy your having as if your eating at a huge deficit then walking for an even bigger deficit I know I definitely wouldn't have any energy .

Just my opinion wish you best of luck

Its hard when you fel stuck and have no motivation. I have been there and Im sure I will be there again.

Here are some things that worked for me:

    I increased my calories-
I took a new class at the gym- I know you said its not your thing but maybe just try one.. You could surprise yourself
Get a food scale and weigh your food
I love walking but I like to mix it up... maybe try the running app C25K... It helps you learn to run thru until l a series of interval walking and running. That program helped me bust thru a major plateau plus I found out I really like to run...I never ran before in my life until last December. Now Im hooked and I am running 5ks not the fastest but Im running!!!
Incorporate weight training 2x a week.. I have to push myself to do it but 5 minutes in im glad I did

Hope this helps. Good luck with your journey
