I alway weigh on Wednesdayas a midway point. My official weigh=in is on Sundays. Anyway I am 2 pounds up:mad: I know I have been slipping a little, but I didn't think a slipped that much. How can I at least break even by Sunday. I plan on doing 1 mile watp for the rest of the week. I plan on drinking at least 12 glasses of water and now starchie food. Any other idea's will be appreciated. Only no more excercise because of fibromyalgia.
Thanks
Thanks

Thank you Thank you Thank you. I need that. This is an odessey not just a journey for me, because I been fat.( yes I said it) all my life. So why rush it. I'll make it sooner or later, but I'm working on sooner. Thanks again0

Put the scale away for awhile, I had to start waying in every two weeks instead of one, I got obsessed with the numbers, it will be my down fall because just because I dont see lbs gone doesnt mean I not loosing, inches make a different. My fiance' hid my scale I cant find it, he'll give it back the day after New Years for my weigh in and then take it back for two weeks0

That is why i had to start weighing everyday. But and its a big BUT, you have to be able to handle the ups and downs of the scale without letting it get to you. Sometimes I would average the weight. Fluid retention and sodium and even weather pressure affects my weigh ins.
Also if I lifted weights within 2 days of weighing in, it would show a gainof 2-3 lbs, and then the next morning those lbs would be gone.
Weighing in weekly, 2 times a week, and daily can all effect you so just let it be another tool for weight loss not the end all be all.
I looked at my monthly weight loss when it came down to it.0 -
Good advice thanks everyone. My goals are 3-5 lbs.every month. So if i loose 3-5 a month I'm within my goals. I guess I'm just trippin. Thanks again!0

Hi!
Dont beat yourself up about that just keep on going. Now that I'm almost halfway to my goal (which has took me longer than I thought it would - approx 6 months) I feel like I just want the rest of it to drop off so I can be at my goal weight and enjoy the success but I have to keep telling myself that it didnt take two months to put on all this weight so I cant expect to lose it all in two months.
Also, I'm eating healthier in general yet still being able to have odd treats such as a takeaway, chocolate bar etc and my body is losing a manageable amount of weight each week which is probably more healthy than losing too much in a short space of time.... gives the body time to adjust.
Anything could have affected your mid-week way in.... keep up your spirits and the results will sure enough show!
Good Luck!!! :flowerforyou:0
