So I worked out this morning before I ate, and got sick within 20 minutes of eating. I feel fine now but ways to avoid this( I just changed my workout time from mid morning to early morning due to change in my schedule next. I did not want to eat breakfast( hard to workout when I am full, and if I eat at all, I usually have to go to the bathroom during my workout ( see I said this might be TM to ask, but I needed to ask, can't be barking every morning!) Any suggestions would be helpful!
Oh yeah it was like 20 minutes after my workout that I ate, it was a piece of fruit ( I was making my eggs...)

  • When you eat in the morning, it wakes up your digestive tract and gets things going. I would do a good workout at around a brunch time. That way, you have some calories to give you energy and u give your stomach a chance to wake up and start doing its "thang". Me, personally, I do my workout after my kids go to bed, 9pm or later. Then a good shower, relaxes me for bedtime.

Thanks for the advice I can't get to sleep when I do it at night, and I was changing to early morning b/c I am taking a mid morning class next semester and will be unavailable from like 11:30am to 9:30pm, think I may just need to eat something really small and deal with it if it gets something moving ( Sorry about the TMI!)

Try eating like half a banana and with a little peanut butter. Just a little snack in the morning before the workout. I have this problem as well. I typically don't eat breakfast until I get to work, but I've started doing my cardio in the morning before work. Some times I get really light headed nauseous within about 30 minutes of working out. Eating a little before definitely helps!
