Can someone tell me if I'm missing anything important

I don't have a gym membership and cannot afford a gym membership.

So for cardio i do 30 minutes on the elliptical 5 days a week.

Then every other day I do some strength training with dumbbells. I started with 5lb and this week purchased 10lb and just getting through 3 sets of 10 is difficult. I also do push-ups, sit-ups, oblique twists, reverse crunches, some Pilates move where you raise and lower your legs, squats and lunges.

Should I be doing anything else? I know most say gym for strength training but that is not possible for me at this time.

You're missing upper back exercises, among other things. I'd follow an established program, like Nerd Fitness, NROL, or see the one in my profile.

Is there a way to do upper back without having to buy anything? I honestly can't afford much right now.

Yes. Google the first program i mentioned, or see the one in my profile.

It's best to follow a program, instead of piecing together your own, so that your workout stays balanced. For example, you're currently doing too many ab exercises relative to the other muscle groups.

Bent over dumbbell rows comes to mind. Might have to get heavier weights.

Pull up bar - they're cheap. If you put it on a door you use often, you can progress pretty quickly (mine's on the kitchen door =D)

Edit: adjustable dumbbells would mean you could progress nicely too.
