Easy Storage Idea for Measuring Spoons and Cups

We who weigh and measure tend to accumulate a lot of measuring cups and spoons. Found a hint in the most recent issue of "Tidbits," an e-newsletter from Lydia at http://www.theperfectpantry.com/. Take the measuring spoons apart if they are on a ring and store them bowl-end-up in a coffee mug. This makes it easy and fast to grab the one you need.

I took this one step further and shoved the dry measuring cups in a large plastic food storage container. Not only will it be easier to find the measurers we need but it remains easy for the dishwasher emptier to put them away.

(Our kitchen is almost overrun with these.) The pictures help a lot. Thank you.

Good illustration of why I only use the scales (except for the odd teaspoon of cooking oil)

Awesome! I have a "holster" for one set of spoons that attaches to a cabinet door, but only one and I have several sets! Great ideas!
