Four days in and feeling good!

I joined MFP 4 days ago and so far, I really like it! My wife has been here for over a year and has lost over 50 pounds, so I thought I may as well give it a try. Maybe it will give me some accountability. I am starting at 280 pounds and want to lose down to about 200 or so. My biggest problem is junk food! I have a very laid back job that keeps my seated in a pickup most of my day and I find myself at the fast food drive through more often than I care to admit. I am sure I will battle with cravings, but I am committed to learning to eat healthy and get out of my sedentary lifestyle. Today I ran for about 1/4 mile while my wife and I were out walking and it really felt good! I used to love to run and I plan to be able to run a lot farther without getting winded soon.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully find a few friends along the way.
