So while I was burying my head in the sand, being all depressed, I binged and gained 5 lbs . Well, I've decided I will not let that pull be back down in the trenches. I did this to myself and now I'm going to undo it! I have quit smoking for 10 weeks now, and until my little set back I was doing great with the weight. I want to be a success story for all the people who are too scared to quit smoking because they might gain weight. I did not gain the 5 lbs because I quit, I gained it because there was a few weeks there where I didn't care about myself and I ate like crap!!! I had no energy and did not work out either. So far this week I have gotten on track, and know that I soon will be able to tell you all that the weight is gone again!

    That's awesome!

You know life is just one thing after another. It what you make of it that counts. Sometimes we check out, and suffer the conquences. But there is no one or thing to blame but ourselves. Being accountable is such a powerful tool to have. Good for you!

Not once in your post did it sound like you were "beating yourself up". You held yourself accountable, and decided to make a positive change. I LOVE it! Not too many people do that. They whine, and complain that life is hard or unfair.

Anyhow, I could go on and on. But kudos to you!:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
