Need Accountability

Hi
Just trying to get as much accountability as possible to stay motivated. Done pretty
well so far, losing 2 stone (about 30lb to our American Overlords) just need to make
sure I keep it up.
Thinking of joining everything going, starting a blog, betting friends that I can make
certain goals....whatever it takes to get to a healthy weight.

Put ALL your money on one thing: building habits
None of the challenges, bets, blogs, etc. will keep you accountable (unless people are shadowing you 24/7/365 and smacking your hand). Habits, around your eating plan and your training, are the only thing that most people on MFP have found works to keep you going.
Do you really want to get healthy? If you do, then it will become your priority and NOTHING will keep you from meeting your goals.

Thanks for the reply. Yes totally agree and thats what i've been trying to do, install great habits. If you have any practical advice on how to do this better it'd be greatly appreciated.
Done pretty well with this and have a totally changed mindset from six months ago. My motivation came from feeling like I was a little lost in life and that their were only a few things that i had total control over (what I ate and what I thought for example).
I almost feel like I put 'too much' time into reading about others peoples transformation stories etc but I can totally correlate my own progress to this. Hence the wanting additional accountability0
