How to use 30 minutes of exercise time effectively

I work 60 hour weeks so I can only afford to spend 30 minutes a day exercising. I'd like to know the best method for getting the biggest bang for the buck when it comes to my workout. Do I:

A) Do 15 minutes cardio and 15 minutes strength training

or

B) Do 30 minutes cardio 3 days a week and 30 minutes of strength training the other two?

Look into finding a kettle bell instructor and learn how to use them. Problem solved! With a good kettle bell workout, you can essentially get strength training and cardio at the same time. (And they are tons of fun to use!!)

I'd split it into alternate days and do 30 minute sessions of either cardio or strength training. I can't imagine what you could actually get done with 15 minutes of either.

This is a good idea. Also, look into circuit training. You won't be lifting heavy, but it's a good way to cram a tough workout into a short time frame.

I'd set up a circuit and do as many rounds as possible in 30min.

    Ex:
    Push-ups
    Pull-ups
    Box jumps

    Or:
    Burpees
    Lunges
    Sit-ups

    Cardio and strength in one.

If you have the time, look into a program, such as T25. I'm having great success with it and am in a Facebook challenge group for support. Beachbody has other programs too that are awesome and can be completed in a 30 minute window (p90x3, etc). Good luck. Let me know if we can help more!
